Hi, Are you asking about people being able to listen into conversations while using the hands-free Bluetooth feature? If so, this communication will only go through the nuvi and your unique phone, this is not going to allow others to intercept or listen in on your calls. However, if you choose to answer a call on the nuvi, the call will be heard through the speaker on the Garmin device. So anyone inside the vehicle will be able to hear the phone call. -NM
