“Does traffic alert re-route you automatically when sensing traffic ahead?”

• Sat in 45 min & 2 hr delays without Garmin noticing or rerouting to a successful different route. Ended up having to go back into the traffic jam after Garmin routed right into an established close road. Had done map update pretty shortly before leaving for trip.

• Yes it does give you alternate routes.
