The 65LMT has a 6" screen vs. the 2597LMT's 5" screen. The 65LMT does not appear to be Bluetooth enabled (no hands free calling, bluetooth backup camera, etc.). The 65LMT does not appear to have 3D map View. The 2597LMT is generally a step up in features.

The nüvi 65LMT is part of our essential series, and the nüvi 2597LMT is part of our advanced series nüvi devices. This means the 2597LMT will have a few additional features. They both feature Lifetime map updates as well as traffic. The nüvi 2597LMT adds voice command (the ability to operate the device with spoken commands), as well as Bluetooth technology.
