Whether it works all over the world null

The nüvi 57LM will be able to receive a GPS signal anywhere in the world. However, you may need to purchase additional mapping depending on where you go. -OA

We used it in Ireland, but we had to purchase the UK maps from Garmin. We had no trouble with connections or directions.
