• I would not mount it to the shield, a RAM mount or tank bag would be a safer way to secureit.

• We do not recommend using nüvi devices on a motorcycle. We have a motorcycle series called the zūmo. The zūmo series has features specific to the riding a motorcycle as well as a mounting kit that can withstand the high vibration. ~JH
