“Can this GPS be used in an 18 wheeler to get the restricted truck routes or does it only give the fastest route to destination?”

• The nüvi 57LM can provide routing using the fastest route or shortest distance; however, it does not take into account truck restricted routes. For a device that takes truck information into consideration, we recommend checking out the Garmin dēzl series. ^DK
