Yes; I have a 2005 Volvo with no Bluetooth capabilities. If you have a Motorola Bluetooth speaker, or any Bluetooth connection device for your car, you can Bluetooth the Alexa Garmin through the Motorola and connect it directly to your car radio speakers. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would wait for Garmin’s fix since iOS 11.2 just brickedd my Garmin Speak. If you car’s audio will take audio input using a 3.5 mm plug like the ones on headphones then you can route the audio through your car for better sound. Although you can use it as a stand alone product the speakers on the Speak are so small they sound really very thin. There’s practically no bass to speak of. If you’re using Android then you’re good to go. You do need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of all Alexa can do however.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if your car has a Bluetooth radio. If not it only plays through the Garmin speaker and it is tiny.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does have a small speaker built-in if you don't have an aux input for your stereo, so it will work with any car with a lighter socket. I think it sounds fine for directions or for having Alexa read back information, but if you want to use it to listen to music I would recommend using an aux input, which you may or may not have. Also, it's a lot of fun to have it read off news updates or answer general questions in addition to giving you directions!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, Garmin Speak will work in any vehicle that includes a 12V power port or cigarette lighter. The Garmin Speak does not have an internal battery and must be connected to power in the vehicle to operate. You can connect to your car stereo using Bluetooth or AUX to play audio through your car speakers. For vehicles that do not have Bluetooth or an AUX input, sound will be delivered through the Garmin Speak device.
