I am using the vivoactive HR paired to my Windows Lumia 950 XL (with the Garmin Connect app on it). the HR records al the walk info and then when you sync it to your phone (the Garmin Connect app) all your walk, ride or run info is also stored in the Garmin Connect app. It is an easy setup to set your MapMyFitness account to be synced with your Garmin Connect account. The sync after each walk is very quick. The GPS map, the times, distance, heart rate, elevation changes and calories burned will all appear in your MapMyFitness account. The only issue is that your Step count info will not yet sync over to MapMyFItness "due to a new file format that the HR saves the step count in" but MapMyFitness is aware of the issue. The vivoactive HR does have screens on it that show your step count as you walk and on a summary screens The Garmin Connect app also saves all your walk info history
