I haven't noticed exactly, but it seems to be on the order of a few hundred steps. A reasonably brisk walk of about a minute clears it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After walking continuously for a few minutes the bar will reset and disappear from the screen. A full inactivity meter can take up to 200 continuous steps to reset completely. ~JH
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Great question. It seems a lot depends on how many bars are active. I have been on my feet all night gaining 8000 steps and not turned it off. It helps to walk outside for a little bit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It really depends, but I have found that I need to stand up and walk about 200-300 feet before it goes away, and/or walk up and down a flight of stairs. There is a setting on the Vivoactive HR that asks if the user wants to turn off the "Move" reminder - I've done that and my firmware on the watch is updated, but still, the notification persists in the form of a red bar (depending on the watchface you choose). It seemed annoying at first, but I got used to ignoring it. Just odd how Garmin hasn't corrected that via their latest firmware update.
