• Sfali, the vívoactive HR can be paired to a Heart Rate Monitor. You will need to purchase the monitor separately. Bot the Soft Strap Premium Heart Rate Monitor 010-10997-07 and Heart Rate Monitor 010-10997-00 are compatible with the vívoacrtive HR. Best regards. ~QKO

• I would really like a full detailed answer from the Garmin Product Specialist because online there are a lot of conflicting answers some say yes, some say no. Yet others say the chest heart monitor can be paired with the watch but it will only tell you what your heart rate is at that very moment but it won't tell you your zones, or your calorie computation for your workout. Do all these functions still work when paired with the chest heart rate monitor? I like the vivoactive Hr but i will purchase the vivoactive if I don't get full functionality when using the chest monitor since the chest band is more accurate.
