It should. Every Garmin I've had has synced perfectly well with all of my phones, which have all been either Trac phone or unlocked phones. You just need to download the Garmin Connect App and follow the instructions in the pamphlet you get with the product.

It walks you through all it's options and settings. It doesn't work with Google fit easily or other apps, but there is an ANT± mode so it can broadcast to other Garmin products.
