It tracks deep, light and wake times. I do not think it is advanced enough to track REM, but could be wrong about that.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn't track sleep type like other trackers. It gives a chart showing how much movement you've had throughout the night. It's simple but, you're body is temporarily paralyzed during REM and there is very little movement in stages 3 and 4 of sleep anyway. So to me, the more times I have no/little activity the more times i probably got deep/REM sleep. And if you're moving all over, you know you didn't sleep well.
