No, it does NOT count steps while driving. I commute over an hour to work and it vibrates to tell me to "move!" because I have been sitting too long! lol.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had an issue with counting steps unless I am actually moving. If I'm in the car for an hour, I get a buzz that I need to move. The sensitivity is enough to calculate when you are walking / running, but it does not erroneously calculate steps simply because you move your arm. I've been very please with the Vivosmart!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does not

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had this for awhile now and I don't believe it does count them in a vehicle. I mean if you move a lot it may but just normal driving no it does not.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Does not count steps in a car or even when you bike.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine doesn't. If it does it's because of the way that I am moving my arms while driving, but I haven't noticed mine pickup up a bunch of "steps" while driving.
