The Garmin app referred as Garmin Connect will not work with an iPhone 4, it must be an iPhone 4s. It will work on an iPad mini as long as it is running the newest version of the iOS. The app will be found under the iPhone only apps section. There is no official iPad app for Garmin Connect. ~JH
