• The watch will vibrate at the time you have the alarm set for. Debbie with Garmin

• The Vivoactive 3 only has vibrate mode for alarms and notifications. It doesn't emit any sound. It has 3 levels of vibration. I have mine on the highest level and it works good to alert me of any alarms or notifications. But to use it to wake you up from sleeping... I would use something else that would make noise.
