• NO, another reason I like it, all functions work without connecting. Connecting just gives you a record/history.

• you can see all the activity right there on your wrist. If you connect to android or computer, it will show you graphs and more information than you can see on your wrist

• No, it has blue tooth connectivity. You could just use your phone to look at the stats if you wish. But you truly never need to take it off.

• It will work without connection, but you lose quite a bit of analysis. It connects wirelessly to smart phones, tablets, and computers. Hope this helps.

• No. To set it up, you need a computer (or a smart phone), but after that, neither one is needed. It has it's own display.

• Not constantly . There are days that I don't check the info . The band will track every day then send to the app/software via sync with Bluetooth. It keeps the info there even if you don't go on.

• The computer is only necessary for updates and downloads. But the data only will show on your smart phone. So I think that somehow, yes, the computer is necessary, but I am not exactly sure how and why. I would rather look at my data on my laptop, but I have not been able to figure out how to do that yet. My laptop Bluetooth is not sensing the device for some reason. But it works great with the phone.

• You can use a computer or tablet or cell phones with the Connect app. You need to have it connected to your phone through Bluetooth for every day use
