The vívofit, when paired with a heart rate monitor, can record your heart rate while you are asleep. An activity would need to be started before going to sleep. Once awake, you would stop the activity and sync to Garmin Connect. From here, you can review your activity to find the lowest resting heart rate. Because of the potential for your heart rate monitor to shift position while you are sleeping, this method is not recommended. For what you are trying to accomplish, we recommend looking at the vívosmart HR. It records your heart rate 24/7, even when you are asleep. Once your data is uploaded to Garmin Connect, you can then review your heart rate by time to determine the lowest heart rate. ^DK
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device has a heart rate monitor strap, so it needs to be strapped to your chest in order to use it, so if you don't mind sleeping with it on then I would give it a shot
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need to wear the strap to bed, and tell it to track. But a better method is the UP Jawbone 3.
