Yes. You can expect to pay for the permit.

Please try again later.a permit....ask which govermental agency requires a permit. must be a local request, because i did not get told about a permit. maybe that is because you got a gas dryer, and the government is discouraging continuing gas, so this or that area is requiring permits to try to discourage purchase of gas appliances
