• In the State of Virginia, Best Buy licensed professional (Quality Kitchens) pulls a permit for an inspection at an extra charge - $160. I was informed about this additional charge at the time of installation. When I called the installer office to clarify that I was simply replacing the existing range without any alterations or pipe works, I was told the inspection was mandatory for gas range replacement.
