We just ran into this problem on our install. There is nowhere to specify which kind of appliance you currently have, and so they assume a 1 to 1 swap. The installer came and did not have a plumbing license, so they could not cap the gas line. We have to call a plumber to cap the gas line the day before and then have best buy's installer come back to hook up the electric induction stove after the line has been disconnected from the old unit and capped.
