A:Answer Hello - great question! When using the popcorn, potato, beverage, etc. features, the Start/+30 Sec must also be pushed; the microwave will not automatically start after pressing a feature option. The reason for this is because you'll have multiple options after you hit a feature button - for example, when you select "Pizza," you'll have to opportunity to tell the microwave how many pieces you're heating up before letting it start.
