110 or 120 Volts. Voltage may vary from one residence to another. 115 volts measured at an outlet would seem to be ideal, but most home appliances will function with voltage anywhere within that range. I think you may be confusing 110 volt vs 220 volt outlets. Clothes dryers and Electric Stoves most likely would need 220 volts. Smaller appliances like Microwaves use 110 or 120 volts. If your home seems to be burning out light bulbs much too soon, you should have your homes outlets checked. Light bulbs will last longer at the 110 volt level than the 120 level or above. Your power company can tell you more.
