You set the cook time by pressing 'Time Cook' and then enter the number of seconds. It stops cooking when microwave beeps.

To set the cooking time for less than a minute, you can press the "Add 30 Sec" pad for an immediate start for 30 seconds, or you can press the "Time Cook" pad enter the seconds and then press "Start".
