Hi Sue - Thanks for reaching out to us about this convection microwave! We are happy to answer this question for you. This microwave is a countertop model that also has the option of being installed into a cabinet using a trim kit that provides the necessary air flow. Based on your description, it seems that you may be asking if you can place the microwave inside of a cabinet. Without a trim kit, these microwaves are intended for countertop use only and we strongly advise against placing them in tight or enclosed spaces. Doing so can block the vents from receiving and releasing proper air circulation which is a safety hazard.
