“Hi. I have to replace a model JVM1850SM2SS, which according to spec has a 16" height. It looks like this model has similar dimensions except for the height. To avoid having to reinstall the bracket, should I look for another model? If so, which? Thanks.”

Hi denden- We certainly appreciate your loyalty! All models are at least 16"H. Also, all 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening so you can choose any model as a replacement. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions. When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. Enjoy! SUE@GEA
