“Returning this microwave because can’t read the control panel. It’s too dark! No back light! WHY? We like this GEslate model except for that. Doesn’t make sense????”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Our display works fine but it is the only thing on our microwave that works. The numbers are pretty bright as is and don't really need a backlight. Our microwave does not microwave anything. Just sits there and tells us the time. We have owned it for three months and has never worked (other than the display). They replaced our control panel and it still doesn't work. Maybe it's your display/control panel. If it is still under warranty and you still have I would call and get that fixed.
