“Hi we are looking to replace our otr microwave GE model PVM2070SM1SS. Is this microwave comparable? I don’t see the melt or soften feature on this model. Also does this unit use the same mounting bracket as our current model? Thanks”

Hi Singer2190 - We certainly appreciate your loyalty! Yes, Model JVM7195SKSS is a great replacement choice for your current model PVM2070SM1SS. The Melt pad is located under the Popcorn pad near the top below the display. Melt allows for worry-free melting of butter, caramel, chocolate and marshmallows. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. Also, when replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model.
