• Hi Castle- Thanks for choosing GE! All over-the-range microwaves are equipped with an exhaust system. It can be installed under a cabinet, even if there is not a cooking surface underneath; however, the height clearances must still be met. Over-the- range models must be installed 66" from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet that the microwave attaches to.
