“Is this microwave able to recirculate venting instead of out? I live in a condo that does not have exterior venting. Is there a different model for this use if not?”

Hi werdboync - Yes, the microwave oven is designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position). Outside Exhaust (Horizontal). Recirculating (Non-vented ductless). Recirculating Charcoal Filter JX81H is included. We also offer GE® 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven with Recirculating Venting JNM7196SKSS. This model is the same except delivered from factory in recirculating position (no conversion necessary).
