Hi - We appreciate your interest in our chimney hood. While this vent hood is designed to be vented vertically through the ceiling, you can use a 90 degree elbow to vent horizontally through the rear wall. The elbow and and any other ductwork needed would be obtained locally and is not sold by GE. We do recommend using the shortest duct run possible to get the best performance from the hood.
