Hi Luke! We are so sorry to hear about the error code you are experiencing with this refrigerator. Fault codes are programmed in many electronic refrigerator dispenser controls. These error, fault and function codes help GE Appliance service technicians quickly diagnose issues with the refrigerator. A flashing green error, fault or function code will be displayed on the control panel when a failure has been detected. This will be accompanied by a beep. The code "dE" means that the defrost system has not operated properly in the last 24 hours. Before calling service, sometimes disconnecting power to the refrigerator for 30 seconds will clear the fault, error or function code; however there are some cases when further service may be required.
