Hello, thank you for your question. Yes, this upright freezer will come back on once power is restored. However, we recommend that you unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when a power outage occurs. When power has been restored, plug the unit back into the wall outlet. If the outage is for a prolonged period, inspect and discard spoiled or thawed food in the freezer and clean the freezer before reusing. We hope this helps!
