Hi JM- Thanks for considering GE! This applies to all GE Refrigerators. We do not recommend installing a refrigerator where temperatures will go below 60 degrees Fahrenheit since the unit is less efficient and will continue to lose efficiency as the outdoor temperature decreases. At 32 degrees, there is no cooling capability at all. We suggest to view the following link for details - REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION LOCATION AND TEMPERATURE: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16910 - Keep in touch!
