Hi there, and thanks for reaching out! We certainly understand how important temperature adjustment is in a refrigerator, and can advise that in general our temperature control knob will make the unit colder if turned to the right or clockwise. Turning to the left or counterclockwise will result in a warmer temperature. The appliance should come from the factory set at the midpoint on the knob.
