Hi AC - Thanks for viewing GE Model FCM16SLWW! To obtain efficient operation, a freezer should be installed in a dry, well ventilated room where the surrounding external temperatures will not exceed 110 degrees F. or fall below 0 degrees F. It should not be installed in a location exposed to water or direct sunlight.
