If drainage is needed, a garden hose can be connected to the Drainage Hole for continuous drainage. A hose is not included and must be purchased separately. For a helpful illustration, see page 10 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances
