That is exactly what mine is doing and it's making me very angry. Actually I bought 3 of these ac's. 2 of them are fine but the 3rd one is in my little "private" room and just blows air....warmish air !! This is the 2nd one I've tried in here. The first one did the same thing so I returned it and got another one. Boy was I looking forward to having the cold cold air in my room. Nope, it still blows the exact same way the other one did. I've tried everything and am just at a loss as to what to do next. To make it worse, the only way it can be moved at all is for me to get my grandson to come do it for me.....he works 5 days a week AND lives an hour away
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m having the same issue. Going to return the ac. Our regular fan gives cooler air than this AC
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We are sorry to hear you are having this issue with your new air conditioner. There are many factors to consider. First, we recommend making sure you've sized your air conditioner appropriately. This model should be in a room that is approximately 150 sq ft. Be sure there isn't anything blocking the front of the unit. Check the indoor temperature. If the room is already 64 degrees Fahrenheit or below, the thermostat cannot turn on the compressor. You'll also want to consider the temperature of the room when the air conditioner was first turned on. If the room was very hot, it will take longer to cool the room. When heat is stored up in walls, furniture, rugs and draperies, it will take longer to cool the room down. Whenever possible, turn your air conditioner on before the room heats up. We have some great troubleshooting tips on our GE Appliances website too if you'd like to check it out. Thank you! Joyce@GEAppliances
