- Answer Thanks for considering this amazing refrigerator for your home. It’s possible for frost to develop in the freezer if the door isn’t shut completely, or if open containers are added. You’ll want to ensure there isn’t anything keeping the door open, containers are cover, and that air vents have proper clearance for air flow. QuestionMy 22 year old 18 cu ft GE refrig is stamped "7.0 amps and 115 V". It easily runs on an inverter generator which is rated at 2,200 watts starting / 1800 watts normal running power. Will the new GE 16.6 also run on this generator during power outages?

- Answer There is no on and off switch you just plug it in the wall and it starts up like any other refrigerator if there’s a power outage first I suggest you plug it into a surge protector and then plug that into the wall to not plug the refrigerator directly into the wall always have a surge protector

QuestionMy freezer fan froze up. I opened up the hatch, and removed the fan blades and defrosted it. When putting the fan back on, i forgot which way it goes. Is it suppoed to blow into the freezer its self, or into the back of the cabinet to blow to the fridge??

QuestionThere is NO information about the freezer in the Instruction manual. How do I know it is even on?? The only temp gauge is in the fridge, I am worried I will loose everything in there tonight.
