“Why do all the GE "garage ready" upright, frost freezers of at least 17 cu ft(all we are looking at), open from the left side? We want to use the freezer INSIDE , but only a right hand opening door will work in our smallish utility room.”

Hey there, and thanks for contacting us about this. We certainly understand why you may need a door that opens on the right for your particular space. Our upright freezers do specifically have the handle on the left and hinge on the right, so they open from the left side; at this time, the door swing cannot be reversed on an upright freezer.
