• A:Answer When ours was delivered, it was uncrated and inspected for damage for us but not plugged in. You should be able to easily plug it in and make sure the compressor kicks on before they leave.

Q: QuestionFreezer has a standard 3 prong plug but specs state 20Amps. Can I plug this into a standard 15 amp three prong plug or do I need a 20 amp curcuit with a 3 prong plug?

Upright and chest freezers require a 120 volt, individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. The freezer should be on a dedicated circuit. You can plug this into a 15 Amp plug as long as it is a dedicated circuit. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. Q: QuestionThe specification for the FUF17DLR GE upright freezer is 31 3/8" deep. My door frames are not that wide. How deep is the freezer with the freezer door and hinges removed? How wide does the door frame need to be to get the freezer into the room?
