“Bought this refrigerator and neither cooling properly and freezer seems not to work. very noisy too. don't know if it is defective or what? i got this refrigerator from bestbuy delivered yesterday and it is almost 24 hours passed but it is not yet cooling nor freezer seems to work. seems to be a faulty product and giving so much of noise. i could only find one temperature knob which we set to coldest . unless there is another knob this refrigerator is not working properly. i didn't like this product and would not recommend. waiting for the bestbuy office to open to talk to them for replacement or refund”

Hello n.g. - this is Nancy at GE Appliances. We are very sorry to hear that your new refrigerator is not cooling properly. After 24 hours, your refrigerator should be close to normal operating temperature. We recommend placing gallon jugs of water in the refrigerator to take up empty space. It is more difficult for an empty refrigerator to regulate the temperature than a refrigerator that is at least half to three-fourths full. Please also check that the doors are closing properly.
