“I noticed on another site that this model has a Prop 65 warning, but not all refrigerators do. Is that true and what is the danger? Thanks”

Thank you for asking this great question! We comply with all federal, state, and international requirements regarding hazardous substances and meet those standards. We also comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws, like California Proposition 65. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can create a requirement to include the warning.
