A:AnswerHey there! The width is about 34 ½ inches with the door open 90 degrees without the handles. If we can assist further, please let us know! Have a great day. -Gina@GEA
A:AnswerHi there,
Thanks so much for reaching out. The doors and the handles can be removed on this model refrigerator. We appreciate your interest in GE products. Stay well! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerThe handles easily as are installed and removed. I also had tight squeeze and when Best Buy delivered it, I simply requested they only install/assemble the handles after getting it thru the threshold. Good luck
A:AnswerThe fridge is 33" wide. If your space is really exactly 33" wide, you might not even have enough leeway to be able to get it in there. But your question was about the doors. If that 33" width of your space extends all the way from back to front of the fridge (which is about 27" deep, not including the door handles), then the answer is no. When the upper doors open, they rotate on their hinges in such a way that the corner of the door sticks out another 1/4" at least beyond the sides of the fridge. So, to open either door at all, you'd need to have at least 33 1/4", and maybe a bit more. So you'd need at least 33 1/2" for both doors to be openable, even to just 90 degrees. But even then, it would be very awkward to try to reach into the fridge with the doors open only 90 degrees. They really need to open fully to have enough access. (You'd be able to open the freezer door just fine though, since it pulls straight out.)
A:AnswerHey there, and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. We know how important the finish is, especially for such a beautiful refrigerator, and can advise the handles are color matched to the high gloss white finish the rest of the model has. We hope this finish would be a good option for you, and are glad to help with any other questions or concerns. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerYou touch the freezer button, the number it displays is the current setting. You change it by touching the freezer button, it will cycle through the possible temperature settings. (I believe it’s -6 to +5?)
A:AnswerHi there - Great question! The Café customizable hardware can only be used with appliances in the Café Professional Collection and cannot be used with this refrigerator. We're so glad that you checked! -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerHello Annmarie - Thank you for the curiosity in this amazing refrigerator. The power cord to model GWE19JSLSS is approximately 61". Stay safe and keep in touch! - John@GEAppliances
A:AnswerIf the handles are coming off they weren’t installed properly. I put mine together and it took quite a bit of force to get the handles locked into place. They should just slide into place until they “pop”
A:AnswerHello - We appreciate your interest in the refrigerator GWE19JSLSS and we are happy to help! This model dimensions are: 69 7/8" H x 32 3/4" W x 31" D. Thank you for checking and your feedback; we will let our webmaster know. Olga
A:AnswerHi Shilo - Yes, however you must use the filter bypass plug when a replacement filter cartridge is not installed. The dispenser and the icemaker will not operate without the filter or filter bypass plug. For reference, see pages 10-11 of the Use and Care Manual at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60805-3.PDF - Thanks for choosing GE! Enjoy- Sue
A:AnswerHi JustCurious - After a power outage, electronic models will return to the previous settings and not factory settings. Thanks for checking with us! Sue
A:AnswerHi Ellie - Freezer Upper Basket (Overall Dimensions) is 25" Width x 5-3/4"Height x 13-1/2"Depth. Ice bucket is inserted on the left side and measures 10-1/4"W x 5"H x 12"D. This leaves approximate 14-3/4"Width of free space to the right of the ice bucket in the upper drawer. Freezer Lower Basket (Overall Dimensions) is 23" Width x 10"Height x 10-3/4"Depth. We hope this is helpful. Thanks for viewing GE! Sue
A:AnswerThe tubing running to the dispenser is coiled up inside the fridge and the filter is inside the fridge. So you get some chilled water. Not super cold.
A:AnswerHi Kathleen- Yes, the icemaker has an On/Off switch that allows you to turn it off. See page 16 of the Owner's Manual at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60805-1.PDF - Thanks for choosing GE. Enjoy! SUE@GEA
