“The plastic is splitting on the reheat button (it looks like a hole) and now we can see it starting on the time cook button. We've only had it about 2 months and this looks terrible and will probably get worse. Anyone else having this problem?”

It may be that you haven't removed the protective film over the buttons that is very difficult to see when unpacking the unit. This happened to me on a unit I recently purchased. I couldn't believe how invisible the plastic was until it tore over the "1" button.
