“I have a GE Model #: JES2051SN2SS that has quit working. Can I replace it with a GE Model #: JES2051SNSS and use the same trim kit that was used on the GE Model #: JES2051SN2SS? What are the differences in the two models? Thank you in advance.”

Hello and thank you for reaching out about this excellent microwave. The models JES2051SN2SS and JES2051SNSS are the same model. The added number is a line identifier to help identify parts if service is needed. While they are the same model, they are not tested for built-in installation any longer and the trim kit is no longer available. As they are not tested and approved for built-in use, we cannot recommend using this model in your cabinetry with your trim kit. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - JB
