“When I’m defrosting, after it starts, and maybe halfway through, the letters “turn” appears as it continues the defrost. What am I suppose to do at that time?”

• Hi Gail, thanks for reaching out! At one half of selected defrosting time, the oven signals TURN. At this time, turn food over and break apart or rearrange pieces for more even defrosting. We hope that this helps! Happy cooking! -Michael

• It’s a reminder to check the food (usually meats) and flip it so it evenly defrosts. I would not flip food that should not be flipped like soups and sauces. Just stir them at this time.
