“Does the light stay on while cooking & if you have a large square dish that will not rotate will it be ok to leave it in there even though turntable will not turn?”

Hi Elvis- The light will come on when the door is opened and while cooking. The microwave has an extra large 16" turntable to accommodate large cookware (Cavity (W x H x D) 16-3/4 x 11-1/4 x 18-1/8). We do not recommend the use of a dish that would not allow the turntable to rotate. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA

Please try again later.I can answer the first question, and that is “Yes, the light stays on while food is cooking.” As far as the second question, I wouldn’t leave anything in the microwave without a turn table, as the cooking may not distribute evenly. Have you tried the consumer manual to see if it answers your question?
