Hi DAP, thanks for reaching out! You would not need another kit for side or bottom venting. If you'd like to take a look at the steps on how to achieve this, you can see the instructions for a 24" model on page 15 of your Installation Instructions. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael
