While we are unable to provide the amount of jeans, sweatshirts, etc. the washer will hold due to various sizes of these items, the washer will accommodate a 14 pound load. We hope this is helpful. It handles 3 beach towels and other assorted t shirts, swimsuits, shorts, (it's the washing machine in our beach cottage) but no way would I try to wash a large size load of heavy items in this washer. It's a smaller washer and needs smaller loads to work efficiently. If you need to be doing larger loads, you need to step up to a full size washer.
