Yes you can’t either set it up as a portable wherein you adjust your faucet settings OR connect it to your laundry hookup in the laundry room.

Hi, Thanks for your interest in this terrific 2.8 cu. ft. portable washer. We're glad to help. If only one faucet connection will be used for installation, then only the cold valve will be connected for this installation. Hot valve should "not" be connected.
